Whether it’s the tapestry of the natural world that calls me, or the beautiful patterns and
relationships that I find in still life, I believe that only the images created in stillness can be
transformed by that experience into something new. I feel that it’s a starting place that gives
me an endless territory to explore and offers a new direction to aim. It keeps me painting,
“still” after all these years.
